Student Theater, Choral Society & Councilor Vogel

This week Joe’s guests were:

John Budzyna, Paige Lichty, Theo Roberts & Wade Turner, from Acting Out Productions, about their upcoming performances of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “The New Little Red Riding Hood.” John will be directing. Paige will play “Red.” Theo and Wade will each play Charlie. We heard from these seasoned young actors about their theater experience, what they like about acting, and much more, while Joe demonstrated his vast ignorance of theater terms.

Penny Lazarus & Dr. George Case, from the Newburyport Choral Society (Facebook), about their upcoming performance of Annelies, a moving oratorio based on the story of Anne Frank. This is the 83rd season for the Newburyport Choral Society, and it’s clear why its audience comes from far and wide for these performances.

Bruce Vogel, Newburyport City Councilor at Large. Councilor Vogel shared his views in an open and frank discussion about the relationship between the branches of local government, the work of the Council and a variety of topics.
